She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Holmes; her husband Alfred; her children, Amanda and Bryan; her mother Minnie Holmes (White); and her siblings, Wendell Holmes, Loyd Holmes, Thomas Holmes, Norman Holmes, Jerry Holmes, Doug Holmes and Merle Hicks.
She is survived by: her son David Hackworth (Kate); her grandchildren, Ann, Bryan, Cora and David; and her sister Linda Riordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
