With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lee McGlamary of Bethesda, Maryland, born in Damascus, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McGlamary and Marie Dolinger McGlamary; and his sister Betty Mayberry (Clarence) of Kensington, Maryland.. He is survived by: his wife Marcia M. Smith; his children, Deborah Corley (Dennis) of Knoxville, Michael McGlamary (Rayann) of Frederick, Jason McGlamary (Allison) of Newark and Kevin McGlamary (Julia) of Mount Airy, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Davis, Caroline, Lily, Cameron, Hayden, Owen, Dylan, Elena, Ella and Harrison; and his sisters, Melba McGlamary of Bluefield and Julia Hays of Moneta, Virginia.. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, 19 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and great-nephews.
