He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Lee Thompson and Eva Lunsford Thompson; and his granddaughter Audrey Kathleen Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Thompson of Winder; his children, Mickey Thompson (Susan) of Winder, Jennifer Freeman (Brian) of Winder and Jill Crane (John) of Winder; his grandchildren, Jake (Kelli), Caleb Thompson (Caroline), Candice Hardie (Donald), Caitlyn Crane, Trace and Brianna Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Emory, Tatum Thompson and Emma Hardie.
The family has respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mr. Thompson to the Autism Society of America at 4340 East West Hwy Suite 350 Bethesda, MD 20814.
