She was predeceased by: her parents, George Orenstein and Pauline Blant Orenstein. She is survived by: her sons, Peter Hurowitz and Aaron Hurowitz (Rebecca); her siblings, Jan Orenstein (Karen) and Kenneth Orenstein (Barbara Feibelman); her nieces and nephews, Joshua Orenstein (Jackie Greene), Abigail Orenstein, Matthew Orenstein (Kimberly Starbuck) and Clare Feiner (Jacob); and her grandchildren, Danielle, Hannah, Lucy and Gus Hurowitz.
