He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldrich C. Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Mitchell; and his sisters, Kate Jones and Elizabeth Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Mitchell; and his children, Aldrich C. Mitchell, III, Jacqueline Mitchell Hunter (Jeffrey Hunter), Stephan Mitchell, Teresa Mitchell Best (Leonard Best), Tammy Mitchell and Cheryl Mitchell (Bruce Hamilton). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
