He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schwalb Small; his children, Susan (Gerald), Albert, Jr. (Tina) and James (Anayansie); his grandchildren, Robert (Marissa), Stephen, Albert, Benjamin, Isabella and Gabriella; his niece Patricia Alper Cohn (David); his nephew Richard Alper (Kate); and his brother-in-law Jacob Schwalb (Sandra).
