He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Steward, Sr. and Margarette "Ginny" V Steward (Charles); his daughter Deneb Thomas; his grandson James Thomas; and his siblings, Butch Steward and Margie Marine.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Steward; his children, William E. Steward, III, Scott D. Steward and Colleen Yezek (Chris); his brother Donald V. Steward (Tammy); and his grandchildren, William E. Steward, IV, Branden C. Steward (Mallory), Justin Tierce (Kristen), Matthew Yezek and Danielle Yezek. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.
