He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Ben Brittingham, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Alice Brittingham (Hammond); his wife Joanie Brittingham; his daughters, Emily Thornes (Ryan) and Olivia Pruitt (Joel); his grandchildren, Roland Thornes, Nellie Thornes and Rhett Pruitt; his sisters, Paige Workman (Jeff) and Susan Marshall (Tom); his parents-in-law, Robert Jackson and Shirley Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Morris (Danny), Paul Jackson (Danielle) and Andy Jackson (Kristin). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (337 Tilghman Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
