She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Griffin and Louise Turner Griffin; her husband Maurice Daniel Perdue; her daughter Shirley Thomas; her grandchildren, Alicia Matthews and Gary Thomas; her son-in-law Edward Fennessy; her sister Mary Lee Wooten; and her nieces, Lou Ann Garton and Sharon Parsons.
She is survived by: her children, John Wayne Perdue (Paula) and Phyllis Fennessy; and her son-in-law James Thomas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burbage Funeral Home - Berlin (108 Williams St, Berlin, MD 21811). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (10601 Assateague Rd, Berlin, MD 21811).
