She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Niemann and Audrey Niemann (McIntyre); her husband William Joseph Smith, Jr.; her siblings, Charles Niemann, Gloria Malich, Herman Niemann and Michele Stoll; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Malich, Kenneth Stoll, Nelda, Sandy and Mary Niemann.
She is survived by: her son William Joseph Smith, III; her brother Max Niemann; her grandchildren, Joshua A. Smith (Kathea) and Jackie Heine (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Maggie Heine, Ben Heine and Eli Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home (421 Crain Hwy SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
