He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Mortfeld and Mary Lee Mortfeld; and his sister Susan M. Mortfeld. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary E. Williams, Brenda L. Cherba and Hannah Gaffigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
