He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Taylor Lee Gawne (Colby); his granddaughter Raelynn Joy Hammon; his mother Patricia Ann Gawne; his siblings, Kathleen Gawne Bigelow (Steve), Mary Patricia "Tish" Suhr (Doug), Robert Barrett Gawne Jr., William Joseph Gawne and Daniel Paul Gawne (Kathy); his sister-in-law Susan Chesivoir; his wife Joyce Irene Gawne; his father Robert Barrett Gawne; and his sister-in-law Betty Jean Gawne. He was also cherished by 20 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and great-nephews.
