She is survived by: her husband Garey Bennington; her daughter Alyson (Jeremy); her granddaughter Nora Leigh; her siblings, Lynda Wheeler (Alan), Susan Hunter (Frank), William B. Barkley, Jr. (Sally) and Roger Barkley (Blanche Woodbridge); her nieces, Katherine and Rebecca; and also Gabriel.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Montgomery Hospice or Beltsville Community Cats would be a wonderful tribute to Mary Lou, who loved animals.
