We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2019, at the age of 96, George Papavizas (Beltsville, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Papavizas; his sibling Leandros Papavizas; and his parents, Constantine Papavizas and Glykeria Papavizas. He is survived by: his children, Charles Papavizas and Panos Papavizas; his grandchildren, Michael, Sophia, Nicholas, John and Aidan; and his niece Hellen Papavizas.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association or the America Macular Degeneration Foundation.
