With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emma Ruffin (Beltsville, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emma left this world on February 10, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sr. Love and Annie Love (Powell); and her siblings, Ruth, Estherine, Willie Jr., Alfred, James and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Yvonne, Beverly Laurine, Anthony King and Pamela Ann; her granddaughters, Maleeka and Mecca (McCutcheon); her sons-in-law, Paul (Burrowes) and Mark (McCutcheon); and her sisters, Annie (Artis), Mildred (Younger) and Doris (Love). She is also survived by three nieces, five nephews, and countless other relatives, friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queens Chapel (7410 Old Muirkirk Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the National Harmony Memorial Park (7101 Sheriff Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785).
