He is survived by: his wife Sarah Blackmon; his daughter Denita Johnson; his son-in-law Eric Johnson; his son Dewitt Blackmon Jr.; his grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Caleb Blackmon, Salena Johnson, Dora Johnson, TyJee Blackmon, Lyric Blackmon, Alberta Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Sarah Johnson and Matthew Johnson; his great grandchildren, Mi'Zouria Johnson and Delilah Blackmon; his siblings, Rufus Blackmon and Beatrice Neston; his niece Robin Garlin; and his cousin Dollie. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and friends.
