He was predeceased by: his wife Willa Dean Armistead (Adkison); and his sister Anne Elizabeth Culpepper. He is survived by: his children, Paula A. McEvoy (Ronald) and Gregory A. Armistead (Kimberly); his grandson Sean McEvoy (Kate); his great grandchild Alice; his stepgrandchildren, Holland LaFalcia (Joe) and Nicholas Davis; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lilly, Vinny, Gino, Taylor and Silas; and his siblings, Eugene, Stanton and Patricia. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research, or Montgomery County Hospice.
