She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bennett and Sue Anne Harrell (Wolfe). She is survived by: her husband James G. Thayer; her children, Thomas Thayer (Laura) and Melanie Gregory (Douglas); her grandchildren, Oaklynn Gregory, Camden and Madison Thayer; and her siblings, Jean Anne Bennis, Kathy Sue Glenn and Edward "Benny" Bennett Harrell.
