He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Lucion O'Dell and Lovie Lou "Della" O'Dell (Hudkins); his siblings, Darrel "Jay" O'Dell, Dollie "Sis" Trout (O'Dell), John "Buddy" O'Dell and Emma Lea Trout (O'Dell); and his son Timothy O'Dell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol O'Dell; his daughters, Marsha "Kim" Leas (Rick) of Haymarket, Virginia and Sherri Bowie (Tom) of Bel Alton, Maryland; his daughter-in-law Lora O'Dell of Mechanicsville, Maryland; his grandchildren, Jaimie O'Dell, Ryan Leas (Alicia), Kyle Leas (Courtney), Chelsey Cornett (James), Tyler Bowie (Kristie), Jessica Eversole (Bryce) and Sean Bowie; his great grandchildren, Jackson Cornett, Emmy Leas, Owen Cornett, Virginia Leas and Cooper Leas; and his grandchildren, Donna Reynard and Cheyenne Figueroa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
