William R. Burke Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 91, William R. Burke of Bel Air, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burke and Grace Burke (Hawley); and his siblings, Nancy Hrabowenski, Terry and Jerry Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burke (Haeffner); his children, Billy Burke (Juanita), David Burke (Laureen), Susan Burke and Teresa Rolek; his grandchildren, Chris Bradford (Deanna), Morgan, Jenna, Emmie Burke, Lindsay Burke (Tim White), Michelle McPhail Twilley (Eric), Michael McPhail (Dustin), Caroline McPhail (Scott Drolette), Matthew McPhail (Chelsea Pitts), Stephanie Rolek and Allison Rolek (Kyle Byard); his great grandchildren, Kylie Cranford, Kinsley, Kamden Belfiore, Blake, Grace Twilley, Gage, Reed, Adrie, Brayden, Cayson McPhail, Mason, Owen, Easton Drollette and Aubrey Pitts; and his friends, Ed Zaras, Mary Ellen Ramsey and Butch Rourke. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
