We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2023, at the age of 97, Velma Carroll Anderson (Bel Air, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Grady Carroll; her grandparents, Stuart Colfax Carroll, Zora Greene Carroll, John Wesley Williams and Sallie Moretz Williams; her siblings, Violet Mae Carroll Hayes, Vera Opal Carroll Moretz, Edith Pauline Carroll, Eva Alberta Carroll Keller, Vaughn Herbert Carroll, Roy Forest Carroll (Peck) and Grady Olen Carroll (Buddy); and her former husband Harry Edward Anderson.
She is survived by: her son Carroll Edward Anderson; her grandson Ryan Edward Anderson; her stepgrandson Michael McDonald of Townsend, Delaware; her siblings, Zora Marie Carroll Moretz (Ernest) of Taylorsville, NC, Dorothy Jean Carroll Williams of Bel Air, MD and Stanley Bruce Carroll (Beverly) of Boone, NC; her sisters-in-law, Mary Nell Carroll of Lenoir, NC and Vickie Carroll of Boone, NC; and her pet Ana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
