He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Schubert and Hanna Schubert (Michel). He is survived by: his wife Ann P. Schubert; his siblings, Peter Schubert, Gerd Schubert and Barbara Whary; his siblings-in-law, Cecilia Sullivan, Noel Houghton, Maureen Middlebrooks and Eugene Sullivan; and his friend Jim Hampshire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
