She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Murrill Harple and Jean Harple (Ey); her husband Stuart Goemmer; her sons, Johnathan Goemmer and Evan Goemmer (Ksara); her grandchildren, Allie and Eli; and her sisters, Nancy Murray (Andy) and Linda Lotman (Rick). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church (4605 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Parkwood Cemetery (3310 Taylor Ave, Baltimore, MD 21234).
