It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Fischer Boone (Bel Air, Maryland), who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fischer and Marie Fischer (Beck); her husband Harris Boone; and her siblings, Henry J. Fischer, Betty Josenhans and Norma Ayres.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley H. Boone and Vanessa Kirby; and her grandchildren, Charles Mason, IV, Brenna Boone, Rebekah Hansen, Rachel Mitmesser, Robert Kirby, III and Ryan Kirby. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant Presbyterian Church (128 St Marys Church Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Christ (7200 Golden Ring Rd, Baltimore, MD 21221).
