He is survived by: his wife Donna Walter (Uelman); his children, Patricia Lauman, Michelle Byers (William), Jennifer Dyke and Rudolf R. Walter, IV; his sister Darlene Credito; his grandchildren, Rachel, Heather, Samantha, Benjamin, Nicholas, Cara, Ashlyn and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jensen, Trevor, Liam and Adaleigh.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1114 Baldwin Mill Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
