He is survived by: his wife Betty Hancock; his sons, Richard Lee Hancock, Jr. (Barbara) and Craig Hancock (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Jessica Yingling (Darren), Holly Hancock (Chris Smith), Luke Hancock (Jessica), Christina Harding (Michael), Noah and Hannah Hancock.
