She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas J. Skara, Jr.; her son Justin Paul Skarda; and her brother Paul Mertel. She is survived by: her son Jared Thomas Skarda; her grandson Gavin Thomas Skarda; and her sibling Michele Chojanki.
