He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sweiger and Audrey Sweiger (Clark); and his former wife Rosanne Pujia Sweiger. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rinehart Sweiger; his sons, Nicholas Sweiger (Andrea Hild Sweiger), Thomas Sweiger, Stephen Basl (Jennifer Laskowski Basl) and William Basl (Jenny Nohe); his grandchildren, Madison Basl, Brooklyn Basl and Jaxon Basl; and his siblings, Karen Cunningham (Mark) and William Sweiger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
