She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Swieca and Ida Swieca (Turek); her husband Joseph L. Podles Jr.; and her siblings, Amelia Przybylski, Cecelia Swieca and Henry Swieca.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Trail and Nancy Hock (Vincent); her grandchildren, Amelia, Matthew Trail, John, Claire, Tommy and Andrew Podles; and also Andrea Tantillo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori, 114 West Saratoga St., Baltimore, MD.
