He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Leonard and Halfrieda Ammann; and his siblings, Jack Leonard, William Leonard, Paul Leonard and Mary Louise "Ouise" Zeliff.
He is survived by: his brother George Leonard; his wife Carolyn J. Leonard of Jamaica, NY.; his children, Larry Leonard, Jr. (Diane), Kathleen Kelly (Michael), Karen Meese (Phillip) and Daniel Leonard; and his grandchildren, Jaclyn Price, Colleen Golioso, Brianna Kelly, Gaven Meese, Braden Meese, David Leonard, Leanne Leonard and Kendall Leonard. He is also survived by 4 great-grandsons.
