He is survived by: his spouse Anna Marie DiGuardo; his children, Maria DiGuardo and Rear Admiral Joseph A.; his grandchildren, Olivia, Maggie and Lucy DiGuardo; his cousins, Dominic Cottone (Kathie), Joseph Cottone (Ann) and Robert Warr, Jr. (Kate); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Salamone, Bill Rausch (Joni), Mary Jackson and Ken Cunzeman, Sr..

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Office on Aging, Emergency Fund 145 N. Hickory Ave. Bel Air, MD 21014.
