He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lynn and Margaret Lynn (Campbell); and his brother Ralph Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Esther Lynn; his sons, John Richard Lynn, Jr. (Cathy), Mark Lynn (Susan) and David Lynn (Julie); his grandchildren, Megan Norris (Matt), Stephen Lynn (Tiffany Chen), Natalie Lynn, Johnny Lynn and Anna Lynn; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Josiah and Isaiah Norris.
