She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth R. Zimmerman, Sr. and Mary Virginia Zimmerman; her son Stephen Heffler; and her brother Kenneth R. Zimmerman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Stine (Ronald), Donald Lee Heffler, Jr., Tracy Young (Kenneth) and Christopher Heffler, Sr. (Lena); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Natalie, Ron Jr., Joshua, Nicholas, Justin, Anthony, Jessica, Megan, Lindsay, Chris Jr., Samantha, Trevor, Devin and Lily; her siblings, Donna J. Mundy (late Oscar), Kathy A. Welsh (Thomas), Mary Ellen Menchey and Steven Gary Zimmerman (Brenda); and her pets, Rae-Rae and Peggy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
