It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kathleen Shutt (Bel Air, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Bernadzikowski and Cecilia Clara (Slowikowski); her siblings, Walter Bernadzikowski, Francis Bernadzikowski, Clara Bernice Snyder (Bern) and Rosalie Bucey; and her niece Heidi Bernadzikowski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Johnson of Rising Sun and Karen Benser (Robert) of Colora; her grandchildren, Daniel Knight (Renee) of Capon Bridge, WV, Jacob Seaman of Aberdeen, Jennifer Dark (Benjamin) of Bel Air, MD, Brittany Lynerd (Eric) of Port Deposit, MD and Harley Wyatt of Baltimore; her great grandchildren, Devon, Kaelyn, Daniella, Della, Delilah, Rylee, Kayden, Ellora, Anaiyah, Nora, Heather, Trinity, Randy and Ezekiel; and her sister-in-law Donna Bernadzikowski of York, PA. She is also survived by many nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
