She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth J. Hess. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Bordelon (Keith) and Christopher Hess; her grandchildren, Lauren, Zachary Bordelon, Ashley, Amanda and Amber Hess; and her great grandchild Camila Hidalgo.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harford County Retired Teachers Association HCRSPA.org.
