He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Milton Horst, Sr. and Thelma Rose Dolch Horst; his daughter Gail Horst; and his wife Carole Jean Horst. He is survived by: his sons, Martin Horst, Michael Horst and John Horst; his grandchildren, Kelly Horst, Matthew Horst, Christopher Horst, Alexander Horst, Lauren Horst, Katherine Horst and Nicolas Ngamkhuntod; and his brother Robert Harold Horst.
