He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Edge; his children, Patricia Myers (Jeffrey) and Lorri Edge-Hotmer (Larry); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Myers, Sarah Myers and Mason Riggs. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in tribute to Gene to the Alzheimer's Association.
