He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles DeVoe and Helen DeVoe; and his siblings, Judith Skelly, Patricia Street and Walter DeVoe.

He is survived by: his son Gary L. DeVoe II (Dawn); his siblings, Timothy DeVoe, Jeffrey DeVoe and Angel Hammen; his grandsons, Evan and Justin DeVoe; and his former wife Diane DeVoe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
