He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Zakwieia and Monika Zakwieia (Ceselska); and his wife Carolyn Zakwieia. He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Zakwieia, Mary Ellen Zakwieia and Marcee Zakwieia; and his grandchildren, Jason and Katie. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
