He was predeceased by: his wife Josefa Baamonde; and his brother Jose. He is survived by: his children, Francisco Baamonde, Angel Baamonde (Dora), Raquel Bowley (Jim), Michael Baamonde (Anna), Alexandra Stadter (Shawn), Melisa Baamonde (Javier), Daniel Bowley (Rochelle), Jake Baamonde (Kelly), Kevin Baamonde (Carmen) and Olivia Bowley (Tim); his great grandchildren, Gianna, Xavier and Adelina; and his siblings, Manuel, Rosa and Dolores.
