He was predeceased by: his close friend Phyllis Jean Novia; his grandchild Ryan; his parents, Thomas Walker and Lucille Walker; his siblings, Nora Bell and John T. Walker; and also Sherry Novia.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Newman (Roger Shenk) and Cindy Gamber (Michael Gamber); his grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey Newman, Michael Novia, Sarah Crews, Andrew Beckner, Schuyler Gamber, Kendl Brandyberry and Matthew Bowden; his sisters, Patricia Jianniney, Barbara Little and Debra Rucker; and also Michael Novia (Mary Ann Novia).
