She was predeceased by: her husband Donald G. W. Funk, Sr.; her grandson Barry "BJ" Stebbing (Laura); her parents, John R. Mentzer, Sr. and Isolene Mentzer; and her brother John R. Mentzer, Jr. (Della).

She is survived by: her children, Bettye Jo Fairall (late Walter), Nancy J. Ruppert (Billy), Donald G. W. Funk, Jr. (Snoopy) and Donna M. Dickey (Kevin); her grandchildren, Steven G. Fairall, Pamela L. Minore (Jesse), Cindy Riggs (Travis), Rob Hesson (Marnie), Lygia Stebbing and Kevin "Alex" Dickey; her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Allison, Amanda, Blake, Morgan, Conner, Amelia, Naiya and Noah; her sister-in-law Carole Mentzer; and her nieces and nephews, John, Jamie, Joann, Pat and Judy. She is also survived by her loving family and her very dear friends.
