She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Dahl. She is survived by: her father Harry Dahl; her stepparents, Linda Dahl and William Shurlknight; her husband William F. "Buddy" Young; her daughter Madelyn S. Morehead; her brothers, Michael Dahl (Jennifer) and Daniel Dahl; her stepchildren, Megan Pollhammer (Steve) and Ryan Young (Margette); her stepgrandsons, Luke Pollhammer and Jack Pollhammer; her nieces and nephews, Michael Dahl (Heather), Jacob Dahl (Hannah), Jamie Dahl-Oldhouser (Sam) and Danielle Dahl (Brandon); her sister-in-law Shari Dahl; and her pet Hershey.
