He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth (Blair Mallonee Sr.) and Jean (Carl Younce); his grandchildren, Heather (Marty Simon), Blair Mallonee, Jr., David (Kayla Meads, Jr.) and Cory Younce; his great grandchildren, Dillon Simon and Morgan Simon; and his siblings, Elise Barr of West Jefferson, NC, James Wood of Shady Valley, TN. and Frank Wood of Mountain City, TN..
