He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William L. McColligan and Elaine B McColligan; his wife Nancy J. Mesis; his children, Bridgitte M. Hessler (Mark) and Sean A. McColligan; his grandchildren, Taylor M., Carter A. McColligan, Miles E., Isabelle C. and Vivienne M. Hessler; his sister Melissa A. McColligan Borger (Stephen); his nephew Nicholas A.; and his niece Elizabeth A. Borger.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Church (8030 Bradshaw Rd, Kingsville, MD 21087).
