He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortunato Barilla and Caterina Barilla (Fiumano); and his siblings, Dominick Barilla, Santo Barilla, Frank Barilla and Carmella Roth.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barilla; his children, Christine Nell (Edward), Patricia Kaplon (Bradley), Kathryn Beller (Neil), Joan Barilla (Edward Gille) and Thomas Barilla; his grandchildren, Megan, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Natalie, Andrew and Lukas; and his siblings, Peter Barilla, Pasquale "Pat" Barilla and Rena Gianquitti.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS.org) or St. Margaret Catholic Church, 141 Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014.
