He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Poole (Hoerl) and Ralph C. Poole; his wife Patricia Hoerl (Wartman); and his siblings, Melvin Poole and Constance Chesser.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Foehrkolb, Terri El-Jallad (Khader), Diane Stevens (Edward) and Tom Hoerl (Kristina); his grandchildren, Ryan El-Jallad (Shereen Roll), Louis Foehrkolb (Amy), Laila El-Jallad (Trevor Morris), Lisa Foehrkolb, Amanda Foehrkolb, Abid El-Jallad (Rand Al-Kurd), Denise Hoerl, Amy Stevens, Erin Hoerl and Andrew Stevens; his great grandchildren, Isabeau VonBogert, Alex McClafferty, Dexter McClafferty, Sheena Foehrkolb and Ruby Foehrkolb; and his sister Eleanor Bray. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
