He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonse Schavittic and Margaret Schavittic (Fifer); and his siblings, Betty Van Hoose, Diane Mullins and Joseph Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schavittic (Maskell); his daughters, Kim Schavittic (Brian Freund) and Gina Weigman; his grandchildren, Corey Weigman, Terry Weigman, Brandon Freund, Derek Freund and Staci Weigman; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Weigman, Aviana Weigman, Adelaide Weigman and Seth Weigman.
