He was predeceased by: his parents, Agapios Platis and Maria Platis (Saliris); his spouse Pope Platis; and his siblings, Nicko Platis, Mitchell Platis, Anthony Platis, George Platis, John Platis, Despina Platis, Katie Tetteries, Marina Platis and Xanthie Tsakiries.

He is survived by: his children, Maria Conway (Timothy), Rena Beckhorn (Donald), Missy Dziewiatkowski and Mitchell Platis; and his grandchild Alexa Conway.
