She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Lillard, Sr. and Stella Renn Lillard; her husband Stanley L. Umstead; her son Stanley "Lee" Umstead; and her siblings, Ernest Lillard, J. Robert Lillard, Jr. and Mary Ellen Lillard.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Hamilton; her son-in-law Joseph Hamilton of Coos Bay, OR; her grandchildren, Katie Umstead, MD and Austin Umstead, MD; and her great grandchild Andrew Barr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
